Hi5 Youth Foundation, BookASmile build basketball court at TTWR girls sports school, Medak

Hyderabad: Hi5 Youth Foundation, a non-profit organisation, has partnered with BookASmile, the charity initiative of BookMyShow, to build a basketball courts across India with over six courts being built since 2017 with a mission to revolutionise the state of basketball in India from the grassroots level.

The newest court was unveiled in May 2023 at TTWR (Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society) Girls’ Sports School, at Medak District of Telangana. An all-girls sports school, TTWR Girls’ Sports School is run by the Tribal Department of the Government of Telangana. Girls are selected from all over the state and brought together here to excel in sports and academics with rigorous training and adequate facilities.

Hi5 is committed to fostering excellence amongst the underprivileged youth in India through its flagship ‘Hope Thru Hoops’ Basketball Excellence Program and strives to make a lasting impact on the lives of marginalized youngsters. By providing the necessary infrastructure and training, Hi5 empowers these aspiring athletes to learn and excel in the sport, enabling them to achieve personal growth, develop essential life skills, and strive for excellence.
